In the countryside just a few miles south of Oxford stands Ardington House. Surrounded by well-kept lawns, terraced gardens, peaceful paddocks and parkland, this Baroque house was built in 1720. Ardington House is available for wedding reception and ceremonies. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and receptions can range from drinks in the house to a full dinner and dance reception using marquees in the grounds. Aynhoe Park is set in the quintessentially English village of Aynho on the Oxfordshire/Northampton¬shire border. Just sixty miles from central London and a mere ten-minute drive from the M40, this private home offers a beautiful setting for any event. With a layout that could have been created with modern entertaining in mind, the house can play host to parties for as few as ten or as many people as you wish. With an array of beautiful reception rooms and exquisitely appointed bedrooms, Aynhoe also has gardens and a park that are perfectly proportioned to accommodate marquees or temporary structures. This is the first time in over 400 years that the house has been made available for private events. Aynhoe Park has a civil license which allows weddings and civil partnership ceremonies to take place in the house. It also has a commercially equipped kitchen that has the capacity to cater for all events in the house.

Formerly an extensive country estate, occupied in recent times by the High Sheriff of Oxford and the McAlpine family, Badgemore Park retains a grace and tranquillity all of its own. Historic Eynsham Hall is a magnificent Grade II listed mansion set in the heart of a 3,000 acre estate in North Leigh, near Witney in Oxfordshire. A grand driveway leads to the impressive Jacobean-style mansion and the ornate terrace gardens provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs. There is a variety of reception rooms that retain their beautiful period features & oak carvings but which have been refurbished with a contemporary twist.
