Weddings are our specialty at Shaw Hill, catering for up to 130 for wedding breakfasts and 200 for evening receptions. We guarantee to host only one wedding per day so you will have our undivided attention. Your event co-ordinator will assist you with your booking to ensure that your day will be a day to remember. Shaw Hill is a magnificent Georgian Mansion House set in 192 acres of mature woodland complemented by a par 72, 18 hole championship golf course. This makes a perfect setting for your big day and photographs. Our chef has won many awards for his food and only uses locally sourced fresh ingredients to ensure high quality dishes at all times. We do have guideline menus but rest aaured we can tailor any menu to suit you. We also have 30 individually styled bedrooms including suites, a fully equipped Leisure club, Hair salon, Snooker room and Beauty salon.

Set amongst the backdrop of the River Wyre, the Great Hall replicates an original timber framed Tudor Banqueting Hall, which was on this very site almost 500 years ago. Overlooking beautiful landscaped gardens, with a feature water fountain, walnut trees, Tudor knot garden and topiary, all provide numerous photographic opportunities. We boast huge timber framed ceilings, a magnificent stone fireplace of grand proportion, sumptuously rich tapestries and huge ironwork chandeliers.
