Full of character and charm, The Orangery Suite is a stunning venue for intimate and personal wedding ceremonies and receptions. With exclusive use of the beautifully landscaped walled garden, The Orangery is an idyllic setting for a couple's special day. The light and airy room can accommodate 52 guests in beautiful surroundings. Alternatively, a marquee for up to 80 guests is available if you wish to have the reception on the lawn. The Orangery Suite is licensed to perform marriages and civil partnership ceremonies. After the ceremony, guests can make their way out onto the terrace for a drinks reception whilst the newly married couple have photographs taken in the grounds. For the wedding reception, a wide variety of catering is available, ranging from an informal buffet or barbecue to the more traditional wedding breakfast. Whilst background music is welcome, the tranquil location means that discos are not suitable for The Orangery Suite. However, many of our wedding parties are happy to move on to other nearby venues for their evening disco. The Orangery is in a quiet and secluded countryside location, just a mile from Wimborne, and is easily accessible from all parts of Dorset and Hampshire. Fairy tale weddings can come true at the Tudor Grange, a beautiful historic hotel with a beautiful garden on Bournemouth’s premier tree lined road. We offer you an exclusive wedding here at the Tudor Grange, where the whole hotel will be yours for your special day. We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies in two magnificent function rooms, with oak panelled walls, ornate ceilings embellished with gold Tudor Roses and leaded windows overlooking the garden. We provide flexible Wedding Breakfast three course and buffet menus including a BBQ and hog roast options served in the garden. The hotel can cater for up to 50 guests for a formal wedding breakfast. For your evening party the hotel can accommodate up to 120 guests, using the two functions rooms and bar. With exclusive use of the hotel evening entertainments can be your choice, for example a band, disco, casino or magician. There is ample opportunity for fantastic photographs, both in the picturesque gardens and in the hotel, especially on the 300 year old “William and Mary” main stairway illuminated by a magnificent stained glass window. There is a complimentary Four Poster room for the Bride and Groom, with private dressing room, luxury bathroom with double ended bath, and a romantic “Romeo and Juliet” style balcony overlooking the garden. The Tudor Grange is in an excellent location close to the seafront so you can have photos at the beach but also close to the town centre which makes it convenient for all your guests.
