Set in 500 acres of beautiful Devonshire countryside, Shilstone is a newly restored Georgian manor house in the heart of South Hams. We have a number of stunning locations on offer, both within the house itself and around the extensive grounds. Shilstone house is available for civil ceremonies and offers exquisite grandeur. The house is immediately surrounded by walled gardens and a charming courtyard, whilst further afield lie secret woodland glades adorned with wild flowers, a mound with a view to the sea, a beautiful old stone quarry and much more. What we are able to offer you is something of a blank canvas. We are truly flexible and whatever your ideas for your wedding day we will be delighted to work with you to achieve them. Our food is sourced locally from organic suppliers, we believe in keeping it fresh and simple with fantastic flavours. Whether a summer barbeque, a cream tea in the gardens or a three course sit down meal, our head chef will be more than happy to work with you to create a bespoke menu for your wedding.
