Hothorpe Hall is a fine Georgian Manor House built in 1799 nestling in the valley of the Hothorpe Hills. Surrounded by extensive lawns and gardens it provides a superb place for a wedding reception and stunning photographs to remind you of your special day. We pride ourselves on offering exclusive use to the bride and groom in order that they can rest assured of our personal attention at all times. There is a choice of rooms for your civil ceremony or drinks reception, each opening out onto the lawns and mature gardens. We have our own private Victorian Chapel for a service of blessing or photographs and a nursery for children to enjoy and use. Guests can be accommodated in our 52 en-suite rooms and the bride and groom have a choice of bridal suite for their use, with our compliments. A range of exclusive use options are offered to brides and grooms, including late availability and Christmas packages. We also welcome more intimate weddings that would require the privacy of their own function rooms but may not require exclusive use of Hothorpe Hall. On certain dates, as a licensed venue for civil ceremonies, we can also host just your wedding ceremony and drinks reception if you prefer to continue your celebrating at another venue - quite popular with people who are having a marquee reception in a garden but wish to have a civil ceremony in beautiful surroundings.
