Haslington Hall is a beautiful Grade 1 listed building set in the heart of Cheshire overlooking the borough of Crewe and Nantwich. It is difficult to trace the early history of the Hall as records were destroyed during the Second World War. However, we can confirm that the house was built by Sir Admiral Francis Vernon in 1545 and contains part of the original medieval manor house, which is said to date back to 1480. During alterations in the 16th, 17th and 19th century it is claimed that some of the timbers used in the early construction were salvaged from ships of the Spanish Armada.
