Bridal LingerieLingerie is as crucial to your wedding outfit as the wedding dress itself. It must support you and make you feel wonderful as you prepare to walk down the aisle. The first thing you must consider is actually your wedding dress. Will it be on or off the shoulder? If it is the latter you will need to have a strapless bra as well. Obviously this needs to be quite robust, particularly if you have a larger bust. Support is all important when you are considering bridal lingerie, because it has an important job. It has to make you look and feel confident and stunning, and it should be comfortable to wear throughout the whole day. Another aspect to consider in a practical sense is the need to avoid a visible panty line. There are plenty of wedding dress companies that can advise you on lingerie and how to avoid this particular horror as well. Obviously you need to make sure you buy the right size for you; anything slightly on the tight side will show. But let’s move on to another important aspect of your wedding lingerie. Once the day is over, you and your new husband will be heading to the bridal suite together. You will want to look your best at this point, so treat yourself to something that really makes you feel like a million dollars. Remember that this will be the first time he will see what’s underneath that wedding dress, so make it memorable for all the right reasons! Of course whatever you choose should not show underneath your wedding dress. But you can still opt for something slightly different with regard to colour. If you have someone to advise you on choosing the right wedding dress they should be able to help you with bridal lingerie as well. Whatever size you happen to be, your bridal lingerie can make all the difference to how you look and feel in your wedding dress. Don’t be tempted to try and make yourself a size or two smaller than you actually are by squeezing yourself into something too small though. Not only will it look less flattering, it will also leave you feeling uncomfortable for the whole day. The right underwear should be supportive, attractive and hold you in all the right places. The only way to find the right items for you is to try on a whole range and see how you feel in them. If you don’t feel confident or sexy in them, move on and try other items until you find the right one for you. With corselets, bras and panties, demi bras, bustiers and much more on offer, you will soon see you have lots to choose from when it comes to selecting your bridal lingerie. If you aren’t used to wearing lacy or more luxurious items like these, now is your chance to treat yourself to something you will remember. This is your wedding day after all, and you should buy something that will delight both you and your groom! Source: www.countywedding .co.uk

Choosing A Honeymoon!Honeymoon translated in Spanish is ‘luna de mile’ and in French is ‘luna di miele’. In whatever part of the world you are, there will be a different translation However, the idea of a honeymoon is the same the world over. The honeymoon is the time when the newly-weds travel together to a romantic destination to begin their new lives together as husband and wife. After the hectic wedding day, relax and enjoy a wonderful honeymoon holiday together. When choosing your honeymoon location, there are a number of important considerations. One of the most important is when you will be going on your honeymoon. The time of the year will help determine where you are likely to go. Plan on how far you would like to go. Are you willing to go to the other side of the world, or would you rather go somewhere closer to home? The proximity also depends on how long you would like to spend on your honeymoon. If you plan to have a month available for this, then you can go as far as the other side of the globe if you want to. Further places tend to have different cultures, and then you would be able to discover and make new memories together. Check on whether you, as a couple, would like to go somewhere cold or somewhere warm. This would also determine the activities you will be able to do. For example, if you would like to go and learn ice skating or skiing together, then you could consider cold places during winter months. If you would rather go scuba diving or snorkeling, island hopping, you might want to go to tropical countries. Another consideration is whether you would like to be in a secluded location, an exotic beach location for example or if you would like places where you get to meet new friends as a couple. Some couples are people persons, happy to be surrounded by other couples. However, there are some who prefer a little more privacy and a more secluded romantic location. Nightlife is also important especially for young couples. They may enjoy a secluded romantic location with the chance to be completely together, however in the evening are likely to want some nightlife, so there are decisions to be made on balancing these options. When choosing your honeymoon destinations consider your budget carefully. Now that you are starting your life together, it is important that you make sound financial decisions. This does not mean that you grab at the next cheapest destination. However, you should consider setting a budget and sticking with it. Choose a honeymoon destination that would be memorable but would also be well within your budget. (Don’t forget you still need spending money!) The most important thing when choosing your honeymoon location is that you choose it together. After all, this is just one of the many decisions you will be making together from now on. UK HoneymoonsWhen we think of our dream honeymoon most of us will think of an exotic destination, safari, long hot beaches and private hideaways on tropical islands. But let’s face it these can be very expensive honeymoons to go on – especially on top of the cost of the wedding as well. But some couples don’t worry about going abroad, they decide to stay in the UK instead. And if you are unconvinced about the benefits of staying in this country, consider some of the following options for a stunning honeymoon you will remember for a long time to come. The best part of these destinations is that you will still be able to get away from it all for a week or two.The Lake DistrictThis region of the country is filled with lakes and stunning views and walks to enjoy. You could book a cottage near Lake Windermere, take a day long walk round Lake Ullswater or even explore some of the towns and shops that are dotted all over the Lake District. If you fancy a nice break away to get rid of the cobwebs and relax after the stresses of planning your own wedding, there is no better place to do it than the Lake District.Devon and CornwallAs anyone who has been to Devon or Cornwall will tell you, these two counties offer you something new every time you go. But there are also the old familiar destinations to visit, such as Tintagel Castle in Cornwall and Torquay in Devon on the English Riviera. The great thing about these counties is that you can explore lots of different towns and then go out into the countryside as well. No matter what you want from a honeymoon in the UK, Devon and Cornwall can offer it all. You can try out the moors too, such as the famous – or perhaps infamous – Dartmoor. Just remember to be prepared if you fancy a walking holiday. You need to make sure you take all the right things with you.The Scottish HighlandsThis part of the country is quite simply stunning. It really does take you to the wilds of Scotland and you can expect to see many wonderful sights as a result. You can visit Loch Ness and look for the monster, go to Fort William and find out what it would be like to live in a rural community or explore the Cairngorms. Wherever you go there is a lot to discover – not least the amazing mountain vistas you’ll see.CotswoldsStay in one of the prettiest villages in the whole of England – Bourton on the Water. It’s a wonderful and charming place that is indicative of much of what you will find in the Cotswolds. You can enjoy the slower pace of life and get all the fresh air you need. And with plenty of larger towns not far away, you can enjoy a wonderful honeymoon doing whatever you want. Which UK honeymoon destination will you head for? Source: www.countywedding .co.uk

Wonderful HoneymoonsOnce the stress of the wedding itself is out of the way, it’s time to look forward to a relaxing honeymoon. Unfortunately for many couples the honeymoon needs to be on a budget – particularly if the wedding itself has been an expensive one. Luckily if you find yourself in this situation it doesn’t have to lead to a disappointing honeymoon; you can still have a great time if you think creatively beforehand. First of all remember that you don’t have to break the bank to have a sensational honeymoon. There are lots of destinations and possibilities for having a wonderful time without having to attach a huge price tag to it. Try and set a budget for your honeymoon in advance so you know what your limitations are, and then think about the type of holiday you would like to have. Once you have that budget in mind, think about where you would like to go. Do you have a particular country or destination in mind? Don’t worry too much about your budget at the moment; simply make a list of possibilities and then you can figure out how you can make your ideas into reality. When you find somewhere you like start looking round at the different types of accommodation that are available. You can save a lot of money here if you are careful. For example a five star room might be nice and luxurious, but how much time will you actually be spending in it? If you want to be out and about and experiencing what the area has to offer, downgrade to a three or four star room. This alone can save you a lot of money. You could also bring down the cost of your accommodation by opting for self catering or half board instead of full board. This is actually a really good idea as it means you are free to eat wherever and whenever you like. And you don’t have to worry about getting up early for breakfast either – you can lie in if you want! Don’t automatically go for a package either. You can often get cheaper prices by being prepared to do some of the legwork yourself. For example look for your flights first and then find suitable accommodation to stay in. It isn’t that hard to do and if you have plenty of time you can make some good savings this way. Of course if you really want to splash out and enjoy the finest honeymoon you can afford, you could always go for a one week break instead of stretching your money out to pay for two weeks. Not everyone will like this idea but you may prefer it to having to cut down in other ways. In the end you can look for discounts, find bargain rooms, stay in less tourist centred places and find lots of other ways to cut down on costs. All those tiny savings you make will add up to a significant saving all in all. Source: www.countywedding .co.uk

Length of My Honeymoon? There is really no right or wrong answer to this, but the question itself is well worth thinking about. The answer for you will depend on your own personal situation and what you both want. For example some people go for the traditional one or two week holiday, somewhere hot and sunny. Other couples prefer to stay in the UK and visit one of their favorite haunts in the country. But just because a lot of couples go on a two week holiday it doesn’t mean you have to do the same thing. Sometimes it may not be possible because of other commitments. For example if you have work commitments to honour that you cannot get out of, you may have to postpone your honeymoon and go later on. This can actually be a good solution if it doesn’t look like you will be able to take a long break together. Instead of heading off abroad the day after the wedding, go a few weeks later instead. It can be more relaxing because you won’t have the stress of the wedding and the party afterwards as well as knowing you have to rush to the airport too. You may need to be practical in other ways too though. The most important aspect of all is often money. While we would all like to be romantic and be whisked off to a private hideaway on a Caribbean island, you have to be practical too and realise it could be too expensive after footing the cost of the wedding. It pays to work out some figures to start with, so you can work out whether or not you can afford to go away for a week or two. There are lots of ways to cut down on the cost of your honeymoon if this is a problem. For example you could go self catering as opposed to full board, and there are lots of cheaper destinations you could head to instead of opting for the luxury ones. Always bear in mind that your honeymoon is focused on the two of you together. As such it shouldn’t matter where you go so long as you both enjoy yourselves and have a good time together. If you have a strict budget to stick to but you still want to have a luxury break, try reducing the number of days you go for. You could enjoy a luxurious three day break instead of a seven day self catering holiday in a cheaper location, for example. Decide on a happy medium and stick with it. This applies to the price of the honeymoon as well as the length of time you go for. In the end few couples will be able to go away for longer than a couple of weeks. Many think it is nicer to head off for a week and then go away again somewhere else at a different time of year. But whatever you decide, make sure you both agree that it is the best option for you.
